Who We Are

LuvDrop is a faith-based nonprofit (application pending) with the mission to help our donors love their neighbors by distributing care packages to those in need with the help of our trusted partners.

What We Do

Donations to LuvDrop fund and send out the contents of care packages to our trusted partners. We partner with organizations whose members generously donate their time to assemble and distribute those care packages to the unhoused, food-insecure, and in some cases those seeking emergency relief in our communities. We then share with our donors when and where those care packages are received.

How We Involve Our Donors

Donating a minimum amount means not just giving cheerfully, but also knowing when and where the care package that you paid for is given out. Sometimes, if the partner organization and the receiver wish, you may also learn additional details, such as the name of the organization who distributed it, the first name of the person who received it, and even a note from the receiver. We respect privacy of course-- the distributor and the receiver may each have reasons they wish to remain anonymous. At a minimum you will learn when it was received, and in what city.

Why We Do It

Our goal is to make the modern barriers to loving your neighbor easier. We see need in our community-- poverty, homelessness, food-insecurity-- but don't know how to help. It can feel overwhelming. Many organizations are already serving, but often contributing our time to them is difficult with our busy schedules, we may feel like our small donation is not very meaningful, and we don't understand exactly how it's being used. We aim to solve these problems so giving even small amounts is a convenient, informative, and fulfilling experience.
